Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Parlaví you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Service Description

Parlaví provides a voice-profile creation and text-restyling service. You can submit writing samples to build a personal style profile, then use that profile to restyle AI-generated or other text so it matches your natural writing voice.

3. Acceptable Use

You may use Parlaví for any lawful personal, professional, or creative purpose — including drafting emails, blog posts, social content, and business communications.

Prohibited uses include:

• Restyling content with the intent to deceive in contexts that could cause harm (e.g. fraud, impersonation, disinformation).
• Using Parlaví to circumvent academic integrity policies — submitting AI-generated, Parlaví-restyled text as your own original work in academic settings where that is prohibited.
• Any use that violates applicable law or infringes the rights of others.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Parlaví uses OAuth providers for authentication; the terms of your chosen OAuth provider also apply. Notify us immediately at support@parlavi.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

5. Billing

Parlaví offers subscription tiers as described on the Pricing page. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access to paid features continues until the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of the writing samples you submit and the style profiles generated from them. Parlaví retains all rights to the service, codebase, and underlying models. Submitting samples grants Parlaví a limited licence to process them solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

7. Your Voice Data

7.1 Storage & Deletion

Your writing samples are stored encrypted. You may delete all your writing samples and your derived style profile at any time from your account dashboard. Deletion is permanent and processed within 30 days.

7.2 No Third-Party Training

Parlaví will never share or use your writing samples to train any AI model operated by a third party. Your samples are used exclusively to derive your personal style profile within the Parlaví service.

7.3 Data Export

You may request a JSON export of your style profile data at any time by emailing support@parlavi.com. We will fulfil the request within 30 days.

8. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantees about style fidelity — results will vary depending on the length and diversity of your writing samples and the nature of the input text. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Parlaví shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will send notice to the email address associated with your account at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Parlaví is incorporated (to be determined at launch). Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
